This is a neat little piece – and very attractive to an Englishman sitting here in Surrey on a dull winter morning. Your second poem today – The Lucky Country – makes a powerful contrast. Given the news about Julia Gillard and Tony Abbott being rescued from Aboriginal rights protesters, that poem seems remarkably prescient.
