120217 Fallen Raven

17 Feb

broken jet wing
flutters
silent
voice conquered   <>
. . . . .the river flat
. . . . . . . . yesterday

let it be
bring
swift contentment
. . . . .the ancient cat
. . . . . . . . that shuns play

    You are sparing with words, and efficient: the reader gets it all: the scene by the river, the ways of nature, the hope of a quick death once death is certain – the lot. Very well done if I may say so!
